Proudly display your American flag to show your support for our great nation.
If you have a worn out flag: Under the U.S. Flag Code, an unserviceable American flag should be retired in a dignified manner. The most common methods are burning (the preferred method) or dropping off for proper disposal at a designated location.
The Berkeley Springs American Legion is hosting a proper flag retirement ceremony on Saturday, June 13 at 10 a.m. Flags can be dropped off year round at the Post during business hours.
Regular Legion Events
Most Saturdays at 6:30 – Queen of Hearts Drawing – To win 60% of jackpot, must be present, 40% if not present.
Bingo every Wednesday. Doors open 5:30 p.m., 6:30 Early Bird, 7 p.m. regular play
Member meeting 1st Tuesday, 7 p.m. each month
Auxillary meeting 2nd Thursday, 6:30 p.m. each month
Sons of Legion meeting – 4th Tuesday. 6 p.m. each month
Quilters Guild – Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday – 11 am to 2 p.m. (Quilts of Valor)
